All breed grooming classes! Do you Love Dogs? Turn your passion for dogs into a highly profitable business. We will show you how success is possible in just a few short weeks! Dog grooming training is now within your reach and no previous experience is required!

1. Grooming Techniques.
   Safe and non-irritating methods of clipping, bathing, dipping, hand-scissoring, personal styling and all terminology relating to grooming.
2. First Aid.
   Learn to recognize a healthy pet versus one that may need veterinarian attention. Recognize the signs of various skin ailments, eye, ear and gland infections.
3. Dealing with Older and Problem Pets
4. Customer Relations
   Learn to professionally answer the questions that the pet owners commonly ask
5. Starting Your Own Business
   Helpful basics on starting your own dog and car grooming business. Includes zoning guidelines, necessary permits, price guidelines, necessary equipment, preferred vendor list, setting up appointments and filing systems.

Each student receives a complete all breed dog/cat grooming guide. This guide will be used throughout the grooming course and may be used as a helpful future reference guide. Students will also be advised to take notes throughout the course for future reference.

The length of the course or the number of classes would be based on the student's ability to master each skill as presented throughout the grooming course.

Each student is required to attend classes at least 2 or 3 days a week with each class day lasting 6 to 7 hours. No more than 2 students will be instructed at one time. Our classes are available Monday -Saturday.

Upon completion of this course, each student will receive a certificate which certifies them a as a graduate of the Groomingdale's School of Grooming.
